The best life hack to making it to the gym in the morning and crushing your workout? Pack your Buhi bag the night before!

Picture this:

It's 6:00 AM on Monday morning. Your alarm is buzzing and you roll out of bed knowing you have approximately 1.5 hours to get to the gym, take your 20-minute spin class, wipe off the sweat, and head to work. You go to change and grab your duffel when the realization hits, you forgot to pack your gym bag for the day! Now you're at least 20 minutes behind, what's the point of even going to the gym now? Eh, you can afford to miss a day...Until it happens tomorrow!

If this is you, first of all, YOU AREN'T ALONE! I am so guilty of skipping the gym to press snooze or using my lack of preparation for the day as an excuse to skip yoga. However, these little skips add up, and if I'm skipping more days in a week than going, there's a problem!

This is why I decided to challenge myself to find ways to set myself up for success the night before in preparation for the next day. Big changes I made initially were packing my lunch every night, laying out my work outfit for the day, and filling up my tank as soon as it hits "E" instead of saying "I'll do it before work tomorrow."

However, the biggest change that has positively impacted my life is prepping my gym duffel bag every night! Why?

A.) I give myself time to pick out a cute gym outfit that will help me feel confident and motivated.

B.) Making it to the gym works wonders for my mental and physical health.

C.) The time it takes to pack and unpack is a reset for me where I can take the time to process the day I had and prepare for the day ahead.
